Better late than never - America
I'm a little late with getting on board here...[SM=x237842]

Had a computer crash awhile back and lost all my stuff, but now I'm back on.

My America is ROCKIN and totally what I wanted to hear! Great crankin guitar work, Joey's voice sounds cool, there are vocal harmonies, etc. It's just an all-around good Europe rocker that I can't wait to hear performed live!![SM=x237824]

When I first got my CD, I flipped thru the songs quickly, and this one stood out right away... LOVIN it![SM=x237804]

    America
This is a great song. I think the American fans will like this one if/when they play it live.

I think it's about to find a new continent, to conquer an earlier not known piece of land. And Joey compares that to conquer a woman - my America.

    I'm an American...
..and it think it's great. I think the word "America" is being used symbolically, meaning "freedom", or something like that. I don't think the song is about actual America. I think it's about a quest for freedom..

I wonder what the Americans think about that song.
Why America? I guess it sounds more poetic in a song...

I would like to read or hear about the story behind it.

It's heavy and it's got good lyrics. I like it too.

Nice song, good tempo. Only weak point is that the chorus and the couplet all sound the same, if you listen to the guitarparts. Some differences would've been welcome in here!! One of the best moments on the 2nd half of the album.

Good song, shows the skill of John Norum. I try to imagine how the album would sound with Kee on guitar. The album would be really different than this one... (can't tell if that would be better or worse, just different)
